A couple weeks ago a buddy and I went to the cabin to do a little turkey hunting and to put in a new food plot. We weren't able to spray it (too early) or burn it (didn't think of it in time) so we just tilled it and planted oats with the idea that we will come back at the end of summer and plant tillage radishes. The plot is in the bottom of a valley next to a creek with fields on the ridge tops surrounding the valley. We've already seen more deer on the property this spring than we have ever seen before so we're pretty excited. Hopefully the neighbors stay off the property this year.
Looks great! Just a personal preference but you may think about mixing in some purple top turnips as well. they have a slightly different time table on when they turn sweet than the radish, this may help increase the time the plot is pulling in deer. Love the spot!
I will keep it updated. I wont be able to get down there for a week or two yet but Im hoping that gives it enough time for at least a little growth
