Been playing around with video editing and trying to come up with an intro for all my videos. Looking for opinions on this one.
    Thanks.

By no means am I any kind of expert cameraman or even a good one.I always kinda feel bad writing a knock to someones elses work but you asked. I'm going to give my honest opinion. I think the footage although capturing some beautiful animals is just too shaky for it to be your intro. Most of it seems to be handheld. Maybe turning up steady shot if you have that option. Feel free to return the criticism on my work if you wish.

@dslyr - no worries and I appreciate the honesty. You are right, that is all handheld. but it's really the best footage I have for now. Hopeing for new better footage after this year.

I'm actually studying Video Production, so here's my 2 cents. I understand that these are the current footages that you have at the moment and you're learning.
    • Footage is too shaky. Use a tripod or something to steady your shot next time. Stabilize your footage in editing to minimize the shakiness.
    • At :30 & :51, views went from narrow to wide to back to narrow view. Try to keep it the same. It's subtle...but noticeable and can be a distraction.
    • Audio was good, not distracting and it fits the mood/pace of the video. Fade your music out at the end of the video...do not cut it off suddenly unless it is intentional.
    • Text...keep the transitions the same. Flying in out, sliding, rolling, bouncing, transforming, and etc...too much can be distracting.
    • For an intro...over a minute long can be a bit too long. An intro is an opportunity to showcase what your video/channel is about. Attract and captivate your audience. I like to keep it under a minute.
Shoot, shoot, and shoot. Be creative and most importantly...have fun creating your memories!

    Thanks Jacked.

All great tips. It's really a combo of 3 different cameras from over the years of my best deer that I had on film. Definitely have a lot to learn. Thanks for the tips.

    My opinion:

    Too long of shots
    Shaky
Not wide-screened, goes back and forth between ratios
    Dont use credit scrolling text

    Everything i wanted to say.

(Disclaimer, im not expert myself, its always easier to critique others).
