    I met the hunter who shot that buck briefly at the ATA show this year. Really cool guy, and from what it sounds a very accomplished and deserving hunter. Congrats to him!

    The guy is also on the Elite Hunting Pro Staff. It's always cool to see a new buck hit the books, hats off to him for staying in the game and bringing this bruiser down.

    That buck is definantly a stud. From the stories that have been linked to this hunter, it sounds like he was very deserving of it.

    I wonder each year, when Johnson's typical record is going to slide down to #2.
