New Hunter, don't know anynere to hunt, can't find anything

    Hello! I have just recently got into bow hunting. I have done Archery as a hobby for many years and decided I would give hunting a shot. I am the Central Illinois area and just need somewhere to hunt without having to pay any money. Does anyone know of some places?

    Where in central IL? There are a number of public hunting areas there.

    If you are new to bowhunting, DONT get fixated on "big bucks".
    Knock on doors like fix said. May take alot of knocks but tell the landowners you'll be happy to just get some meat.
