Here you go. I really like the lineup this year but I doubt I'll be getting one. I think the new z5 cam is going to be a winner. http://www.hoyt.com/customer_service/2014_hoyt_catalog.php Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I will be in the market for a new bow after the season so I will have to get out and shoot them. Not sure if I like the look of the carbon sypder or not yet.
was just about to post this. Will have to shoot the carbon and see if i like it better then my regular spyder
I like it. Lets face it, none of the other bows out there look anything like it. If the cam is anything like the original z3 but with draw length modules, it will be a huge seller. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
And, if I didn't like my g3 element as much as I do, I would be getting one. Funny, my son has my older 2011 element and he shot my g3 and fell in love with it. He is trying to steal it from me.:what: Another friend shot it and he was trying to take it as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
That is true. I havent shot any Hoyts before so I dont have anything go off other than how it shoots compared to my bow now.
The z3 cam was hugely popular. Smooth beyond belief with great speed. Only draw back was that it was draw length specific. If they captured that cam's characteristics with modules, they'll be very popular. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Short of some weight savings and probably a little less hand shock, there really isn't anything on paper that would make me need to upgrade from my katera. Except for the look of the carbons....dead sexy. Glad they kept the charger, because the wife wants one.
It is extremely hard to explain what the carbon bow offers without spending some time shooting one. My g3 is my 2nd best shooting bow ever. The first was a pure target rig with a 8" brace and 38" a-a Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I think you'll see this as the future trend for all new bows from all manufacturers. They've pretty well reached the pinnacle of efficiency so on paper they're all going to look the same. Now bow companies are focusing on the fit & finish, draw cycle and overall "feel" of the bow in your hand for their improvements. Advancements in manufacturing and materials is the wave of the future. As for those bows, I think the Carbon Spyder looks sweet. Definitely a little cooler than the Carbon Element IMO. Oh, and I like the ripoff of the Mathews Tactical color scheme.
They have already ordered bows so you should see them showing up within the next couple weeks. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I hear you. And I wasn't saying that I didn't WANT , just didn't need. I really , really want a carbon but you know. I guess since the performance has pretty much hit a climax for a moment I'll hold outfor the first one with a built it foot massage.
I just bought my element this summer too, I like it but I just can't get my groups tightened up consistently with broadheads. I'm about ready to try changing the drop away rest for a biscuit. I'm liking that new carbon spyder turbo..very cool.
