Saw a New video on the carbon Matrix on Youtube.

Nice bow seems to be very light and strong. Not sure I could afford one though.

the owner at my shop said he has sold more of these than any other bow this year. He was nervous when he took one in that he wouldn't be able to unload it.

Even as a Hoyt owner, I have to say they're out of their minds expecting people to pay $1700 (camo) for a bow!

Definitly not a cheap bow. I'm not going to pay that.

How much would you pay.....if you thought/knew you were buying the last bow you'd ever want/need?

How many more years do you think you're gonna bowhunt? How many times do you think you're gonna trade (up?)? How much will each trade end up setting you back. Do the math.

That bows is a sweet shooting bow.

A carbon riser has been tried before, give it some time and let's see what happens.

There is absolutely, positively, no freaking way I would buy one of those over the Maxxis. Same limbs. Same cam. Same speed. And only 2 oz lighter. But better than half as much cash. And besides, I don't plan on cutting the tubes of my bow or parking a truck on it.

Hoyt has a great concept here, but it needs some serious work in the affordability arena.

I totally agree with you guys...1700 for a bare bow, not including the makeup...too rich for my blood. I suppose the concept is that form follows function. I think the reason why this has been designed so radical is the stress, kinetic energy is what led it to be a solid bow. However, since this is the "bata" version, it will have it's bugs, just like everyother bow.

When I originally saw this bow and the price tag that accompanies it, I thought there was no way they would sell. It was not faster, or even that much lighter than the Maxxis. After a few months though, I have seen those things all over the place! There are a lot of people shooting hunter class with them at the ASA's. They honestly just LOOK cool. I think that's why people are buying them, just because it's something new, it looks cool, and its just something different. People will pay whatever it takes if they like the bow enough.
