    Welcome aboard!

Go a to bow shop and shoot as many bows as you can. You'll make that decision for yourself!

Welcome aboard, I'm new to bow hunting and deer hunting - but am running up a huge Amex tab as I buy all of the stuff I have wanted to for the past 6 years or so. Finally decided to get my bow and hunting stuff this year, Amex be damned.

First deer I take should run about 900lbs a pound.

Good luck, I have found a TON of helpful information here.

Welcome to the site and the sport. My advice is to shoot several different models of bows and get what is the most comfortable to you. As for hunting in that area, I would do my research on the Arizona Wildlife Management site. There should be useful information there.

I don't know diddly about AZ, but I wanted to say "hey" and welcome you to the site. Wouldn't hurt to talk to the guys at the proshop about where to hunt either. I'm sure they won't tell you where they are hunting exactly, but they can point you in the right direction.
