I hunt in Wadsworth mostly. But I may be loosing that location after this season so I'll be searching for something different. A Bristol guy I see... Are you a Hysells customer?
That's sucks that you might be loosing your spot in Wadsworth. I heard they have some great deer in that area. I mainly hunt public down south. I will be hunting in McHenry this weekend but it is a 1 weekend only deal. I have bought a bunch of stuff from Hysell.
Will definetly be interesting. I never got a chance to scout the place out so I am going in totally blind for 2 days of hunting. Will definetly be an experience. I have a post about it in the general forum. We actually have several members of the forum that live in the area. During hte summer we usually all try to get together on weekends to shoot together at the Chain O' Lakes range. You will have to join us next year!
I'm 5 minutes from the state park range. It's a nice place, I like the elevated platform. Just let me know when.
For a free range it is really nice. I actually like walking the course also. We probably won't all get together till spring but I will keep you posted. Do you shop at Hysell alot?
Lets just say when I start a new hobby or revise an old one someone makes a lot of money off me. Marybeth takes very good care of me.
She is very nice. Not a big fan of her brother but he does a great job fletching my arrows and working on my bow!
He's not one for conversation thats for sure. She's great though if I start reading on something and think I need it she generally sets me straight. I've spent a lot of money with her and I don't plan on going anywhere else.
Jeez - get a room you two! :D It's nice to see a Fox Lakian aboard. Welcome! How did you find us if you don't mind me asking?
Welcome to the site and I also have dealt with Hysells for years until this past summer. Ted is the one who does the fletching with Mary covering when he is out of town.
My quad is my other hobby. It's a 2006 Sportsman 500EFI in Mossy Oak Camo. I went a little pimp my ride with it and let say it to has cost me a lot of money. It has a laundry list of things done to it. Heres a shot of it (and my wife) on a trail ride we did last weekend on the cheese trail in Darlington WI.
I used to go on huntingnet.com alot but I kinda lost touch with that site so I did a yahoo search and found this place. It's good to see a lot of locals.
Actually I am just trying to help him get his post count up so he can quickly beat that Sally Wacker Raceway!!!
Camo I use to chat someone on huntingnet.com from Fox Lake that hunted in Wadsworth. First name If I may ask?
