    Hey all

I live in the mountains west Sydney Australia and hunt further west in the mountains for deer and pests on public land.

Still mainly use a rifle as hunting pressure makes it not easy in the forests but took up the bow about a year ago.

Only taken a rabbit and a red fox so far.
Keen but wary of getting close enough to shoot a deer as they can run off and be lost.
    That would be devastating.

Had a great bow hunting forum that covered all of Australia but it was hacked and now broken.
They are going to just let it die by the looks of things so I looked around and find myself here.

Will enjoy some reading and tips and hope to contribute if I know what I am talking about, subject wise.

    Cheers

Welcome to the forum. Won't bore you with the Aussie terms I picked up in the past. You will find a great bunch of bowhunters and target shooters who are most willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
