I watched the 1st episode. I hope the 2nd is better. If it doesn't pick up the pace it's not going to make the cut for me.
Well any updated opinions? I just re-watched episode 4 in preparation for tonight's episode. This series has been really great so far and is really starting to pick up now. I didn't really have any problems with the pacing with the previous episodes either. Has anyone looked into seeing if this is supposed to be a multi-season series or would it end up being that they wrap up this season's story and then possibly develop a whole different storyline with a new cast for a following season?
I've heard each season will be a new cast so they can keep using top shelf actors (none of which would sign a multi season deal otherwise)... Love the show. About 4 hrs from home right now and that will be the first order of business upon arrival.

I know it has been only 5 episodes, but this, as of right now, is one of my top 5 favorite shows. It's awesome. Last night's episode was awesome. Mathew Mconahoueahfagyaogy is awesome.

The work week drags waiting for this show to come on Sundays.... Also hate to see this end best show I have seen in a long time.
Thinking of who the killer is again... Rust is to easy for it to be him, Marty is to easy to say its him too, there trying to make everyone think it's him. What sticks with me bout him ( of course I'm gonna relate it to hunting) rust asked him bout hunting and Marty said he got a 10 pointer last year.. Wasn't the antlers on the first girl a 10 pointer? But again to easy! I'm also wondering if it could be Marty's wife doing anything she can to get his attention, but that's a stretch I think. Which leads me to Marty and rusts boss the police chief guy. Did he purposely put those two polar opposites together so they couldn't work together on the case when the answer was right in front of them? Suspends rust for getting close? OR!!!!!!! Lol what if it's BOTH Marty and rust?! And the reason why rust is constantly in his house looking at evidence is because he is trying to cover it all up for them?! Maybe it's just an act between them the polar opposite? Or it's because they disagree on the way it's covered up? And rust keeps interviewing people to make sure there tracks are covered? If it is either Marty or Rust, I'll be pissed. That is a cheap ending. A couple of my theories/thoughts: - I think it's obvious that Marty's daughter was molested in the cult while she was younger. My theory is that Marty's FIL is involved somehow. He was portrayed as rich and very interested in the case. - The other sheriff guy, not their boss, but the one mean mugging Rust all the time is the inside man for the cult. - I think the "man with the scars" was the guy mowing the grass at the school that Rust interviewed. - Tuttle is obviously involved. I don't think he is the King in Yellow though.
I can't believe I have missed this thread. Each week I keep wanting to post a thread about this show and always forget by Monday morning. This is a great show and very well written. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
