whats up everyone, im new to hunting in general and am trying to get out and find some sheds, any suggestions on what to look for(other than antlers). I already got smart-assed by a few guys in the general discussion which was pretty funny. any help would be much appreciated. We have some park land around here central md that i can get to with no issues.

Bedding areas, food sources, fence crossings. Really anywhere a deer might go could have a shed antler around. Just walk walk walk amd walk some more

Who would do a thing like that. LOL
Ok here's what I look for...
Beds- deer bedding areas often turn up lots of sheds
Trails- I walk and scan all the heavy trails that show heavy deer sign scanning the area on both sides and walk slow don't look for "antlers" look for a piece of antler.
Feeding Areas- here sometimes a good spotting scope or binos is key in these areas, if they are open (cut ag fields or the like)
Other than that look for deer sign in general then look for bone go slow and look hard.

Buy you some nice walking rubber boots if you have water or a lot of snow. Walk your butt off and take some snacks and water.

Bedding areas are my best spot and I agree with soccerdan.
