just came across this site today....looks promising.

I live in Hernando, MS. I grew up hunting in the MS Delta and moved to hernando in 1994. I quit hunting until 3 years ago when a customer of mine got me shooting traditional bows. Got addicted and got pretty good.

Managed to harvest 4 whitetails my first year hunting. (i shot everyday for hours before taking a shot at a deer) My first day bowhunting was opening day in 2007. I missed a 6 pointer at 12 yds. but i dropped him 3 days later at 48 yds.....yes 48 yds. He went less than 20 yds. theres a pic in one of my albums. For the record i keep 99% of my shots under 30yds.

    Anyway, just saying hello

thanks guys. lady luck was with me that day. i dropped 2 a little over 30 yds and the other 6 were taken between 18 and 25 yds.

no matter the distance and no matter what kind of bow you shoot; any day you can take a whitetail with a bow is a great day.
