I've been hunting for awhile now, but just decided to get into bowhunting. I picked up a bow cheap, but the sight is broke on it. So...my first question is...what is a good, decently priced sight?

Next...all i have shot so far is targets with field tips. So...i need broadheads for hunting, and don't really know where to start. Fixed, or mechanical, ect?? Decent brand?

I guess that's all i have for now. I might not get to hunting with my bow this year...but I'll be good and ready for next year for sure! I don't want to be out in the woods and not be sure that I will hit what I'm aiming for. Thanks for any help!

Sounds like you have a sensible view on it. First off, welcome. Secondly do you have a local shop that could look over the bow for ya to make sure it is safe and fits you? After that, it's practice and knowing what you are capable of. Good luck. Keep asking questions, we'll answer as best we can.

I did my research before buying so that i didn't buy a bow that wouldn't fit me. Made sure the draw and weight was right. Everything about the Bow is great...just the sight mount is cracked, and doesn't really stay set for sighting in. I have a local shop, and will head up there when i get a chance. But need to come up with a time that works for me...ussually puching closing time by the time i get done with work. Thanks for the response.
