Hello all. New hunter here from the Milwaukee area. I'll be picking up my first bow (a PSE Brute X) over the next month. I got fitted yesterday after having never shot a bow and was instantly hooked just from shooting the few shots that I did!! My thing has always been camping and fishing but I've wanted to get into hunting over the last few years. This year, I finally decided to take the plunge. I look forward to using the hell outta the search feature here and learning all I can while getting to the range as much as I possible can!!! Hoping to get my first deer this fall!!! :)

Welcome aboard brother! You should come out to Ojibwa Bowhunters in New Berlin, great club, we have winter leagues on Wednesday/Thursday, spring and summer leagues open to the public for 10 weeks each on Wednesdays! Don't let "league" scare ya, a lot just shoot for the fun of it and hang out! We always have a great turn out at out shoots over the summer as well! We have 2 field point courses as well as a Broadhead course! We have about a 100 members and a small waiting list best $100 bucks I've ever spent! Oh, did I mention our pig roast and campground.....!

I'll have to look into this!!! Thanks for the invite and the warm welcome. I've been reading my tail off and have already learned a great deal here. Folk here seem a lot friendlier here than some other sites. I read all 82 or so pages of Fitz's 2012 journal and I was emotionally drained!!! Not from the long read but from the rollercoaster that the thread took me on!!:)
