New Guy from NC

Just wanted to drop a line and say I am new to this site. Found it on Roku. Downloaded and can't stop watching. Have been a die hard bow hunter for over 30 years and just got into 3D tournaments a few years ago to help with staying true to form in the off season. Now I'm addicted to anything archery and bow hunting. Have been very impressed with Justin and Todd's professionalism and great representation of the archery and bow hunting community. Keep up the great work guys and always remember the ALMIGHTY gave us this great passion for the mystical flight of the arrow.

Right around Sanford. Remember driving through there a time or two driving around the Ft Bragg area staring at cotton fields and pine trees.

Im 48 mins from the NC border. but that would east Nc ish.. about 3 hrs from Outer Banks.

 

I’ve got fam around VA beach too.
And In princeton WV on the ither side of Bluefield.

well my mama is from Wrightsville Beach NC, hadn't been there in 40 years. VA beach is not really VA in culture. Now just outside of the beach, surrounding counties very much old southern VA roots

 

I fished Wrightsville with my baby brother two weeks ago. I don’t go there often unless it’s for the scenery.

Hey All,
Sorry it took so long to respond. Off the grid for a little while scouting.
Bear Creek is in Chatham county NC, which is in the center of the state.
Lake Jordan is in its boundaries if that helps. Lots of big deer in this area as it is still primarily agriculture and livestock. I say that with a little reserve as the city is pushing out this way to make room for more people. I will ride it out for another 15 to 20 years till retirement; by then the city sprawl will be at my doorstep and I'm tradin it all in for an RV and hitten the road to hunt public land in this beautiful country while it is hopefully still a democracy.
