Hello. I'm another new guy from MN. New to archery and to the site. Saved up and bought a new Creed XS a few weeks ago and am having all kinds of fun. Hope to do a lot of practicing and spending next fall out in the woods. I am 38 and totally new to all of this.... My oldest son (9) has been shooting for a couple years now at the local club and I decided I want to join in on the fun... better late than never right!!
This is a great turn about. Usually it is the parents getting the kids involved. Thank your son for the addiction he got you into. You are going to enjoy the times you share shooting and hunting together. Welcome!
Thanks everyone. I have 3 boys (9,7 & 5) and I look forward to spending as much time as I can creating good memories... I did not grow up hunting (sports and fishing was more my thing) but always appreciated being outdoors and in the woods.. Always wanted to hunt but we lived in the city and it just was not very accessible. I now live on a large chunk of land and am surrounded by oppertunity... I look forward to reading and learning as much as I can from you folk!!
Welcome, I grew up on the range but it's been many years since I was up that way. Enjoy the sport, it's addictive.
Welcome, Ozmon. You're never too old to do this sport as long as out can walk! I'm pushing 65, and I'm not nearly done. :D
