    Just took up bowhunting this year. Mostly gun hunted in past. Mainly been muzzleloader the past few years. Shot first deer on opening day here in Iowa with bow. Got a perfect shot at 10 yards. Nice Doe. Meat in freezer.

    Now, waiting for a nice buck. Good confidence booster for me to shoot a doe first.

    Been reading a lot of threads and getting good information. Thanks to everyone who has shared their knowledge. Very valuable to someone new to bowhunting.
