Hey all! Great forum here, thought I'd go ahead and join in and introduce myself. My name's Josh. I am from Central Indiana, and have lived here my whole life. I am currently a college student. In my spare time I enjoy shooting guns, listening to music, and riding motorcycles. I am new to bowhunting, but not new to compound bows. A buddy of mine gave me his Bear compound a couple years ago when he got a new one, basically so I'd have something to shoot since they used my yard to target practice in, haha. It was alot of fun, but his girlfriend wanted to get into it, so he asked for it back, no big deal cause at the time I had too much going on to get into hunting anyways. Well now my mom has gone off and married an avid deer hunter, and infact took her first buck last year during shotgun season. My stepdad went out and got a crossbow about two weeks and it made me really start itchin' for a new bow. Now I have my own Bear Strike compound. It's got some cool bells and whistles on it, but isn't anything to fancy or high dollar. I really like it so far, and we are going later this week to get my sights zeroed in :D Can't wait!! Anyways...here my bow! Love the sights on this thing!!
Thanks guys! Thankfully the land my stepdad's family owns is alway swarming with deer. Normally there are 5 or 6 people out during shotgun seasons, but only me, him, and his brother for bow season. Should be plenty for the taking!
Thanks! I can't wait...here is an example of what I can expect on my stepdad's property...he takes on like this almost every year! Edit: The pic...that's weird...it's showing the right side up on my photobucket...hmmm oh well!
