Well got these a few weeks back ,just finished loading them for the field, dang got 1 foot of snow last night and guess I'm going out tomorrow to hang them. Really like the ease it is to set them up! About as easy as the Spypoint Tc,but I'm thinking a much better picture! We'll see, be back in 2 weeks to see how they compare. I know the spypoint has awesome video at night but it's black and white. Won't find that out for few months at least till I get in there and start videoing. Hopes are high on this TC, dang like a little kid wanting to get this out, LMAO. 60 years old.:p Don't know if you'll ever see this tc this cheap as Ebay had them on for $83.00 and no shipping charge.Up here in Cabela's they go for $179.00 each, I jumped at it as I'm from Alberta, Canada. Deer should be on the rebound this year as last year the numbers were way down ,I only saw one 140 buck all season with 36 sits. I know that's terrible, but we had a bad year for snow last year, this year the levels are way down, only takes a few years to get back to better sized bucks. Rocky
i bought a g4 three days ago. was nervous about buying another Stealth cam. took it home, no work!!. took it back, and got another. it works took some pics around the house. very nice photos.
Bucksnbears They say what the problem was for not working? The new one they give you work? I checked mine and it works alright, be ticked if I put them out tomorrow and they didn't work! Good luck with the new one. Rocky
unit turned on but would not put pics on card. the next one worked right off. still nervous about buying a Stealthcam.
Did you format the SD card or try a different SD card. 99.999999% of the time that will fix any issue I have like that with any brand of camera. Sometimes for whatever reason a card and camera don't like each other. I pull it out put a different one in and it works. That or reformat the card.
All of mine (10 until one was stolen) have worked flawlessly. The night pics leave a little to be desired but the day pics make up for it.
Got them hung yesterday, snow was almost gone, tons of water, man I found some awesome trails that I new the deer were using for bedding. I put out a Spypoint mini in October and it took 1172 pictures and was still going. Forgot all about it,got some great pictures. Only one good buck, maybe a 140 4x4 nice chocolate tines. Never saw him last year, big bodied deer though, should be a good one this year. Had about 14 different bucks go through here, man I sat in the wrong place all season, LMAO. I should have scouted it early but never got permission till opening week. Can't wait to get in some more time in there scouting. Got some really great photos though. Can't wait to see what show's up when I get back.
I haven't felt this good about a spot in 24 years of bowhunting. I still feel there are some good bedding spots to be found, I seen my big 3 all come from this bedding area. Hoping I'll find a good crossway where 2 to 3 trails intertwine. There's a 40 arce parcel of alphpalfa in behind also that I never knew excisted, this is in a residential area with all owners owning 40 acre parcels. Can't wait to explore! Rocky
I got a pictre from my Spypoint that blows me away of the detail it shows of this young spike up and close. I'll post it when I get back in 10 days. Rocky
http:// Well this is the one I was referring to for detail, I still can't believe the clarity for an real up close picture.
I hope this buck is around this year, got'ta love those dark antlers, specially If he put's on some inches. Got some weight to him for a 3 1/2 year old. Can't say I've seen this buck, with those dark antlers he should be easy to pick out. Only wish I could have hunted this property last season, got permission opening day. Pretty good 3x3, still not good enough to loose an arrow.
