Hi everyone, I just found this forum and it looks like lots of good knowledgeable members are here. I live in the Orlando area (St. Cloud) and have 20+ years as a bow hunter. I shot a Mathews Black Max til I got hit from the rear while riding my Big Dog chopper. Now I have real difficulty (as in can't) (still hard for me to admit) pulling back a bow string. But, I am trying hard to rehab back someday. So, my son now has my Mathews and I just bought a Barnett Ghost 410 crossbow. I can still pull a trigger. For those of you who like crossbows, all I can say is that the 410 is a very, very worthy companion. I am amazed every time I shoot it. Crazy, scary fast, very accurate, light and maneuverable. I look forward to sharing in your thoughts and experiences and will chime in myself from time to time.
Glad to hear from a fellow cracker Ill be hunting just above Orlando opening day and hunt with a good friend that shoots a Xbow. They are wicked.
