Well name is justin...started bow hunting when I was 14...quit when I was able to hunt with rifle. Then two years ago a good friend got me back into it. I bought a mission maniac two years ago and have been addicted to it ever since. I finally decided to get registered here after reading a lot of threads. I'm only 26 and from when I bought my first bow when I was 14 technology has greatly improved. All these threads are really informative a help me out a lot because there is soooo much I need to learn. I am currently trading my bow up for the new mission blaze. I went to the local proshop shot it and it shot incredible...my buddy I went with even said I shot it better than I shoot my old bow...but my concern is the brace height...anyone care to weigh in?

Thank you all...I understand the longer the brace height the longer the arrow is on the string and obviously the opposite for a shorter brace height... Does anyone here shoot a 6.5 or lower brace height?

    Welcome to the site Justin!

I wouldn't be too worried about the brace height on the Blaze. Especially if you are shooting well, which it sounds like you are :tu:

I'll be going up after I get my taxes back. I'd like to shoot the chill r also...so I have a couple bows to compare and see which I like better.

^This. And if you're switching bows, test - drive all that you can.
