Hi, I have hunted most of my life (35 years young) in WI, but recently crossed the border to MN. Tried bow hunting over here this year for the first time and wanting to learn more. Will continue to gun hunt WI and bow in MN. Been reading a bit lately and looking forward to interacting more.

Southeast and found some public to sit this year. A bit last second. 3 young kids have kept me home recently, but got the itch this fall again. Might poke around a bit looking for some private for next year.

Well that is a good part of the state to hunt with the exception of the diseased deer, trout fishing and turkey hunting isn't bad either.

Seems like it is. Hunting in northern WI my whole life, I can't say I have had much luck. I don't think I have ever seen multiple bucks in a sitting and the first night I sat here in MN, I saw 4. Now I just have to get used to the 4 point rule and I might have had my 8 pointer already. Finding those brow tines as the sun is going down is tricky.
