    Hey all,

So bow hunting is illegal in Ireland so when im efficient with my new bow I'm looking to go somewhere in the US to experience a hunt, preferably deer.

Has anybody any suggestions for somewhere good to go? Ideally looking for somewhere with a high chance of success, accommodation, somewhere to cook what you harvest.

    Any pointers greatly appreciated

So many choices hard to nail one specific state. Hopefully some of the hunters here will point out a quality outfitter.

Welcome IrishEyes, best of luck finding what you are looking for. Most of my family lives in Northern Ireland.

    welcome,

if I was coming from out of the country; I would probably use an outfitter or a stateside friend. Can't imagine putting together an entire hunt from scratch; beginning with hunter's ed classes, license/tags, picking an area, logistics, food, camping equipment, etc.

Just so you know- every state has different hunting laws/license requirements. Some of them even contradict other state laws. Once you pick your state(s) then read the handbook, front to back.

    best of luck
