Hey everyone. I'm totally new to the archery/bow hunting relm. Other than one relative I don't have any hunters or shooters in the family. It is something that has sparked my interest for a while and thought I'd find a group of knowledgable people to help me through the learning process. If any of you have a suggestion of a good shop up in Northern Illinois I'd sure appreciate it. I'm from west Chicagolamd. Thanks
Welcome to the site!!! You are in a great area to be apart of this website because we have a huge group of great hunters in your area! I am from the area and know of almost all the shops in Chicagoland. My favorite shop in the area is in West Dunee called Buck Stop Archery on Rt 25. Depending on the bow you have or are looking to get I can certainly suggest other shops to you. Buck Stop carries Mathews and Hoyt but you have a ton of choices in the are. Alot of us also get together and shoot from time to time so you are more then welcome to join us whenever we do! Well I now am an owner of a PSE Stinger 3G. I shot it about 25 times today and am pretty happy with the accuracy. I need a little more practice to get back into the groove, but it feels great to be shooting again.
