Hey, all! New guy from Houston. Been a rifle hunter for pretty much my whole life, but wanted to try something new and challenge myself. I received a Diamond Infinite Edge Pro for Christmas; not top of the line for sure, but it should give me a good start. Picked up a bow release and case with some gift cards. Now all I need to do is have the peep sight installed get help with setting draw strength, length, and getting the correct length arrow. Looking forward to hanging around and learning all I can for the 2017 season! By the way, if anybody wants to throw out suggestions for some good bow shops to help me out in the Houston area, that would be much appreciated.

Welcome! You are now officially hooked to an exciting sport, as well as this forum. I'm from Houston, since I started joined the archery world, I find that the best archery shop, is West Houston Archery on I-10 W. bound before Kirkwood.
