The past 3 years i have been throwing out corn, but for this year I have been considering planting a food plot. I'm not a farmer and it feels like I am late to to the game, but is there anything that I can plant now that will yield a good plot in late september or early October?

I still have corn to throw out if I am late, but i'd like to give it a shot if i can throw down something.

The seed has to make contact with the dirt.if you have some bare ground that has been sprayed you make get some to grow by packing the seed. There are some throw and grow products out there. These are mainly just the smaller seeds like clover and turnips but you will still need to rake the vegetation off.Check out qdma.com
