Planted a new food plot a little while back. Is in 300 acres of solid timber with a mild amont of CRP. This tract was logged this past winter and this spot was used as a landing. Used to be a crp strip. We came in and mowed the site first. We then tilled the plot and sprayed it. We let it sit for a few weeks and came and tilled again. We then planted in in Whitetail Institutes Winter Greens. This stuff came up GREAT! Great later season blend as it gets sweet ones it freezes. Just had the first hard frost this past weekend here.
