Ok so I went and plowed my 1st food plot 2day using the groundhog max and I have to say WOW!!!! its worth every penny. I cant say a bad word about it. I took a shovel to dig a 2ft by 1ft by 8in hole at the side of the food plot to attach the hog max so I didn't have to take ramps into the woods every time, it worked perfectly every time I needed to adjust it.
I only plowed 2day, im going bk in 10 days 2 spray round up, then 10 days after that I will be going bk to put the lime and fertilizer down then plow again, then 10 days later spray. so that will take me to mid july (including the 10 days after the last spray) then as soon as I know we will have rain I will go and plant the seeds :)
I know there is a lot of trees but its not my land and the owner said I can only cut trees that are less then about 4inch so all these have to stay :( I measured it again 2day and its only 1/8a
The 1st pic is the plot 2 weeks after I cut it and put round up on it.
The 2nd pic is after 30 min with the groundhog max, the first 15min I had it set to where it was just touching the surface and then I moved it down about 2inch for the next 15min.
The 3rd pic is after another 15min with the depth at about 3inch.
The 4th pic is after another 15min with the depth at about 4inch.

I guess if I used it the right way it probably would have taken less time my bad :whip:
It was 1hr of plowing but I stopped for about 30 min twice to let everything cool down, also it would have been less time if I didn't have the trees to go around. But 1hr of riding a ATV is fine with me for them results. I will add that a 2x4 will have trouble because my bk wheels was off the ground a lot of the time and I even got stuck twice in 4x4 but it had been raining for 5 days before hand so the ground was very soft.
