After many seasons (8) in Gray Wolf Woolens Predator camo, I decided that it was time for a change. Ever since it came out, I had my eye on the Sitka Fanatic Jacket and was finally able to put one on to see what it was about. Well, I bit the bullet and bought a set of Sitka. I have the Fanatic jacket and went with the Stratus pants. I figured with layering, this setup should get me through October and November easily.

I have no qualms with the GWW stuff I had. I held up very well and was comfortable. But the design of the Fanatic was too much for me to ignore. I think its pretty obvious that the designers are whitetail hunters or listened to those that are. I can't stop putting this jacket on.

One word of caution for anyone considering Sitka. They run a bit small IMO. I am 6'0 200lbs and the guys at Sitka told me an XL would fit me perfectly. It does, with a T-shirt on. I went with the 2XL and its not a lot larger and actually fits very well with my max layers on. It fits well even with a t-shirt as well.

Can't wait to get this stuff in the woods in October!

Yep, Sitka is really great stuff. You won't go back and it last forever. Very well designed and made.

I'll get some detailed pics up of this stuff when I get a minute. The design of the jacket and pants and attention to detail in the design is pretty awesome. The jacket especially, its just obvious that some thought was put into it.

The only reservation I have with it so far is the durability. I noticed the zippers don't appear to be very heavy duty. Also, the jury is out for how well the material itself holds up. That is one area that I was spoiled with the Gray Wolf stuff. It was bomb proof.

I really like this stuff so far though. I can't wait to use it this fall in PA and OH.

I went with sitka fanatic as well. They definitely have a fitted sizing. I was able to wear a large. I tried extra large first and the oversized gut was just too much.

I wear a 32 waist jean but had to go with a 36 whitetail pant from sitka.

It is really hard to find sitka advertised for less than msrp. I have searched for cheaper prices a lot and I was able to get all my clothes 20% off at the end of the season. New line comes out in june and it is really a hard to find those prices advertised this time of the year. There may be a reason they are advertised so cheap. I do know there is a pretty good mark up and they are still making a good profit, even at those prices.

Don't be surprised if they aren't carrying sitka in the near future.

I love the Sitka... I got a ton of it from base layers to insulating layers to shells and rain gear. If you have any questions on any pieces hit me up I will let you know if I have it.

The stuff fits me true to size, not sure why you guys are having problems. The only thing I bought a size larger was the cloudburst rain jacket and pants(to fit over my insulating and shell in cold weather). Everything else is medium and fits perfect.

Here are some random photos, probably not ideal but gives you an idea. I am very satisfied with the pattern. I am not to thrilled with the green treestand pattern but love the open country.

Looks very good with the tree backdrop.
