I can't believe the amount of people that still buy into scent control clothing ....... I am sure it's a non issue for them. And it should be for everyone else as well.
Im sure those guys could go out stinking like no other and still kill good bucks. yes scent control helps but im sure these guys hunt smart enough that they could do it without scent control clothing.
I guess what I was trying to say is that if they really believed that Scentblocker was all they talked it up to be for the last 10 years they wouldnt have made the switch no matter how much sweeter the deal is with UA. They are obviously good hunters with great land and I enjoy there explanations of why they hung a stand and how areas come together along with there food plot shaping. I just think that move away some something they pushed so hard for all that time shows that they didnt believe it was worth all the hype they were giving it. Anyone remember back in that day when they had actual amateur average joes on dream season? They would penalize people from a scent control standpoint that they didnt have the full face mask on, coat zipped up to there eyeballs and unable to see anything on there face besides there glasses. Now there out there in there hoodies. Its just funny. I will continue to watch and enjoy there shows but anything on any of those hunting shows that repeats a product over and over just sails right over my head. Funny how they never talk about there arrows going a 1/3 of the way into a deer but they prop up that nice big hole so you cant miss it everytime. The gimmicks of those shows are laughable and honestly there not even in the top 1/3 as far as pushing bs. Enough rambling, there good hunters and I am sure they will tell a good story on this show as well.
You maybe correct that it was all just a pay check....in fact your probably correct. But I don't think we can just assume that UA giving them a better deal either....who know what are the reasons? Could be as simple as a higher bid from UA or they could have been dropped from Scent blocker and are lucky to score a new sponsor ...even if the deal isn't as good. One thing is certain if your making a living endorsing products, hunting cloths in this case your plain silly if you don't take the best deal regardless of the company. Let's face it, if it our own money then we can decide what works best and give us the best value. If it's a company's money....and your getting paid to boot...you make it work. If American eagle made the right offer you would see there sweatshirt being worn in a treestand on the outdoor channel tomorrow....
