I sent my Bear Magnesium Take Down off to Precision Hydrographics (just bought by Big Jim's Camo Dipping) to be refinished. It's on the way back right now. I bought the limbs and handle separately. The limbs had someone try to do a refinish on the that turned out like a NIGHTMARE. The handle/riser was merely spray painted but was in need of a new finish and had some corrosion.
Lonnie posted some pictures of the finished product, here's before and after. When I get the bow home and can put it all back together I'll post more pictures.

that is badass! How easily will it be to scratch the bow?

It's the same as a factory finish. The clear coat protects the pattern like any other finish.

Well it's snowing HARD again here in northern VA. We're having historic proportions of snowfall this year, the Federal Government is closed for the 3rd day. I guess that'll put off just another day before I get my bow back.

I have another set of limbs I'm thinking of doing in one of these 2 patterns.

With the riser being the finish it is, I'm thinking an old school treebark camo might look pretty cool!

That would be cool but it isn't in production anylonger as far as I know. One set of camo is enough.
