Just got this new deer cart. Lightweight, compact, inexpensive and it works great.

I have a deer cart (Big Game) I've used only twice and its a real pain by yourself. This one looks very interesting.

Cougar: In my book this is the ticket. Light, compact, inexpensive and made in the USA. Delivered in lower 48 states for $130.
I picked mine up at the Pa Bowhunters festival in Forksville pa. He was across from me demonstrating it. He had a concrete filled deer decoy at about 200 pounds. His wife was able to pick it up and wheel it around. I had to try it!!!!!!!!!! Bought it. lol

wow, thats nice. Could have used that a few times this year already, dragging deer in south Alabama is sometimes a major pain. I will have one before next season!!!!

With all due respect, that thing looks like a "pita" to use with that single wheel. It looks like it would burry pretty easily into the ground. I have Cabela's Alum-i-Lite deer cart ($120). It has large diameter wheels for EASY transportation over most terrain and is super light weight.

Well I don't know what people define as easy...but that sure doesn't look hard at all...

The only time I see the wheel getting buried in the ground is in a fresh plowed field. That would not be deer season around here. In a swamp it would not work. In deep snow they do make a ski for it. I haven't hunted snow too deep for it yet, but then again I doubt that I'll be hunting in a couple feet of snow.lol

I bought one of the heavy duty big game carts with big bicycle size tires and the thing paid for it's self the first time I used it..

I looked at it and thought about trying one. My concern is our temps in KS are all over the place. Which typically means the ground thaws and it is muddy. Not sure if that little wheel would be best.

I think I am going to make one out of 1" pipe and a wheelbarrow tire.

The little wheel has a plate right in front of it that knocks off the excess mud and snow. The Kansas deer are typically a little heavier but most times it should serve you well. BTW I don't sell them. Just trying to help.

Sota that will definitely work to build your own. I personally can't build it better or cheaper.

Well since my wife threw out her back helping me load my buck this past fall I figured the odds of her ever agreeing to help me again are pretty slim.;)

Ya will not need to have your wife help. You set the handles on the ground near the back of the truck. Lift the wheel on the tail gate. Then lift the handles to slide the deer in.
If you do build your own, having the handles at an angle is a huge advantage. It makes it easier to get your hands around when on the ground. Makes it easier to pull. JMO

Dont know until I would try it I guess.. but like others I see that little wheel being to small so I doubt I would give it a shot. If it works good for you thats great tho. ;)

Pit: it will do exactly what is shown in the video. No more no less.
