Nice wheels!! Good luck with it. I have an '02 Silverado and love it, but what I love the most about it is it's paid for. lol I have 140,000 miles (change oil every 3000) on it and still get asked if it's new. I did the leveling thing and put some better wheels/rubber on it. If you get a liner, make sure it's one that won't allow water to get under it, as the water never gets a chance to dry. Here's my cart.

I have the same exact one. Nice truck. I put a tanneuo (snap) on mine, and some new BFGoodrich rugged terrains. About to hit 60k on it. Havent had any issues yet. It has a "cold knock" or ticking sound when I start it but they say its normal and not to worry.
I've been looking at 7.5" lift, but the wheels/tires are the big money parts.

It's nice to see everyday "normal" trucks for work, play, and family and not jacked up teenager mud trucks. Nice looking trucks guys!

My truck makes that cold start sound as well, always has. But, I just let it idle until it goes away. Which it always does. I think it's the oil circulation, or lack of when cold, that makes it do that, because it goes away pretty quickly. I believe it is "normal" for a Silverado. Mine also had a bug shield, but I removed it because it looked :dan:.

I had a bud shield but it kept making a bunch of noise, I tried to put some foam under put it never went away.
I use Lucas Oil and the ticking is still there, I never really thought it was much of an issue or someone would have made a big stink about it.

    I agree Tony... but it is a good-looking 'cart' none-the-less. Think I'll start a Truck-Porn thread.
