Hi guys, my great wife just surprised me with a Mathews Creed! I need to get a rest and a stabilizer. I was thinking of a Quad Ultra rest. Any thoughts good or bad would be helpful. I'am really up in the air about a stabilizer. I hunt from a hang on stand so I would like to keep it kinda short.
    Thanks

I have the QAD HDX Rest on my Creed and I Love it. I have one on both my bows to be honest. Pine Ridge Archery Sawtooth Stabilizers are good ones as well as Axion Stabilizers.

I also have an HDX. Great rest. As for stabilizers, I just upgraded to a Ktech twin tech 5 and I definitely notice a greater change in my vibration over the generic $15 stabilizer I had on previously.

I had 3 QADs and 2 Ripcords. I found the most dependable, quietest rest is the NAP Apache Carbon. KTech stabs are on all 4 of my Mathews. If you can, try the 6" 2 rod and a Tech3 or Tech5.

Congrats on the new bow! I have not tried out many rests other than QADs because I have had no reason to. I love mine! As for a stabilizer I go back and forth on if I want one or not but I really have no reason to as my ZXT is super quiet and there isn't a lot of noticeable vibration. Why fix it if its not broke?

Congrats on the new creed. I have a QAD HDX on the Creed and a a Mathews edition QAD on the Chill X and they work very well. The axion 4inch SSG is a decent stabilizer and what I currently use.

I would like to thank all of you for the input. I think I will go with the QAD rest and try some of the stabs you have talked about. I would post a pic but I'm stuck In Africa at a military base for 4 more weeks. Then back home for a bit of shooting and hunting. Thanks again!

Axion stabilizer, matches the bow perfectly! I also have a knuckle on mine, so I can get it out of the way if I need to, or use it as a handle.
I started with the qad hunter, but have since gone to a whisker biscuit. I like how fool proof it is. Too bad it doesn't come in lost.
