Greetings, all. BiggDee55 from Colorado here. I am just getting back into the hunting game. I recently dusted off my 20 yo Jennings Buckmaster and had some maintenance performed along with some new arrows. I will be slinging this violent beast for a few months and then plan to upgrade. I will have lots of questions and very little input, unless there are specific questions related to whitetail hunting in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana. But even then, my experience pales to most here, I am sure. I will have to reinvent myself as a hunter since I now live in CO and plan to spring turkey and then go out for the 2016 season.

    BiggDee,

If you get the chance take the Becoming a Bowhunter courses, a good friend of mine Charlie O teaches it in the Springs areas, even though it is meant for a beginner there is a lot of information that will help you become successful as the critters are a bit different (Muleys & Elk especially), Turkeys seem to be Turkeys wherever you are. But especially in preparation for the second course, Charlie will cover everything during that you can throw at him from tactics to equipment etc.

There a lot of 3D shoots & clubs in the area, hope to see you at these!
