I recently bought a new climber and I absolutely love it! I used it this weekend and I have to say it is one of the most comfortable easy to operate light stands I've ever hunted out of! Weighing only 16 pounds it's easy in easy out the net seat is superb! And the price was very very reasonable! I would just like to recommend this stand to anybody looking for a good light climber! Nice new toy!!!!! You can get some GREAT add-ons for the stand that will make it better than it already is. Check out thirdhand archery.com, they sell a bowholder that is ROCK SOLID and....it holds your bow while you climb, no other holder can do that. They also sell stabilizer straps the lock the top piece of the climber to the bottom piece and make it more solid than a hang on tree stand! I will never use a climber without those 2 things! worth every penny! Good luck and be safe!
Slugger, Checkout the Hazmore seat. I just got one for my viper and LOVE IT!!! So much easier to climb with, very comfy, and you will realize how big the viper foot platform is!! I need my comfort while hunting, i even had the summit surround seat! just google search hazmore seat.
