We have been looking into this for quite a while and finally ordered a new camera. We got a Cannon T4i with extra batteries, a couple of cheaper lenses and also a 18-200mm lens, shotgun mic and some extra goodies. I want to thank everyone that helped by answering my questions, it made the decision easier

No I wont be bringing it. I am sending it with Corey, he leaves Friday for Washington to hunt coastal black bears. I am hoping they get some great footage and some hero shots with it.
Thats a good reason to not bring it. :D Good luck to them on the hunt and hopefully they get some sweet photos on the new camera.
Glad you went with the t4i over the other options we chatted about. I feel you guys will be very happy with it. An extra battery is a must with the Rebel line of cameras. Maybe get a shotgun mic and battery grip next. See ya in a few days! Oly44, Alissa and I will have our cameras down, including the t3i.
