I received my Busnell Trophy cam the other day and started testing almost immediately.I set it up in my "test area" (neighbors backyard :d). Here are a couple of the pics I got. Not too bad for a $200 camera. I wish nighttime pics were a little better though.

This thing is small too. I've heard from quite a few people that have been getting thousands of pics from only one set of AA's, it can operate off of four but it holds eight and will operate longer. The packaging states it has a one year battery life (lithium batteries). Overall, I think it will serve me well.

Thanks Bowmanaj. Its nice because you can almost carry it in your pocket.

You should definitely consider it. I looked very closely at the Bushnell and the scoutguard 550. They are essentially the same camera but the bushnell has a 2 yr warranty where the SG550 has a 1 yr. I've heard they are made from the same manufacturer.

IMO those are great nighttime pictures, at least compared to my camera

That cam looks great and has nice pics. I love the size of it. I may have to look into that for my next cam.

It's advertised to be less than a second but its closer to being 1 sec - 1.5 seconds. Still respectable.

GaBowhunter...I have only had a couple of days experience with it but most of the reviews I've read have been favorable. Guess I'll see in a couple weeks when I go pull the card.

If you don't mind post up some pics and your impressions of it after you pull the card. You may just sway me away from Cuddeback.

We just did a quick test/review of that cam this afternoon and I was impressed. What I really like about it is the built-in menu and screen, unlike the ScoutGuard that uses a plug-in remote control. I may be picking up a few of these cams for my own personal use this fall. :tu:

Nice. I really like the size. I never understood the need to make the trail camera bodies so large. We all know the components that make up the system aren't (or don't HAVE to be) that large.

    Thanks Ben...I hope it's a winner. We'll see.

Yes...I like that feature as well. I thought hard about getting the Scoutguard but got this guy instead. I'll probably check it next week. Hopefully I get some good pics. :d

Matt...I hear ya buddy. I don't know why it took them so long to start making them this small.
