So I am new to this forum and site, but have followed the web episodes for a while. I am not new to bow hunting either. I currently shoot a Bear Super Mag 48" 50# recurve with no sights. I have been granted access to private property for the last couple years. The land is only 75 acers but I have done a decent job of getting deer to make it a regular stop. I put out a mineral lick this year for the first time a week ago and here are a couple of of the dozens of photos that I have gotten just in the last week. They are coming multiple times a day and all day long!! The smaller 6-8 point is Stubby a younger 3 year old. The other in that pic is a 2year old 4 point. The other pic is Chip, cause he is missing a chip out of the top of his right ear. I think he wil end up being a nice 8 point or 10 point.
Thanks y'all, I just realized that my date is off my my cameras I put 2015 in the cam, opps. How many of y'all have gone from traditional bow to compound bow or vise versa? Those that have shot both do you enjoy one more than the other? I grew up shooting compound but transitioned to traditional for the ultimate challenge, very close, very quiet, and trusting myself for aiming.
