I just bought some new broadheads, Carbon Express XT 4 Blade but they only come in 100gr. I'm here to tell ya these things come out of the box ready to hunt really SHARP! They come apart very easy to resharpen and are very sturdy
I needed to add weight to my GT's, so I tried the weed whacker string thing. It did add the weight I need and seem to be solid inside. I'll try shooting them tomorrow.

I have had the weed whacker line in my arrows now for about a year with no adverse effect.

As long as it's hard up against the insert and pushed into the nocks it's not gonna go anywhere.;)

Nice looking head. I got some new heads in a couple of weeks ago.

Outback Supreme Single Bevel FE's 220gr

With the brass insert they have lifted my FOC to 38% fly like lazers and hit like a mack truck.

Oh I took the trimmer line out of the arrows I have the 220's on they are a neat 600gr's compared to 620gr with the trimmer cord and 125gr head.

That CX head kinda looks like a Silver Flame! Russ have you shot anything with that outback head, just wondering what kinda damage they do, they look pretty stout!

    Joe.

I shot a deer and couple of pigs a couple of years ago with the 125gr version they leave good entry and exit wounds shaped like an S and really bust through bones, yeah they are stout with a .043 blade thickness and hardened to 51 rockwall.

The 220's where designed for the Water Buff,Camels, scrub bulls and other big boned animals in Australia;)

Yeah they do with a small bleeder blade.
