Sold my bowtech guardian and I am debating between getting a new assasin or a used destroyer since they are around the same price.. Local dealer has both. What are your guys opinions? Thanks!

Shoot em both whatever fits you better is the one. On a sidenote I would recommend the assasin because I've heard lots of good things about it

First off. You messed up selling your Guardian. LOL. I did the same thing and regret it to this day. But with that said I just bought a new Assassin this year and love it. As the others said though you need to shoot both and see which one fits you best. Althought you may want to consider that the Assassin you will be able to put warranty in your name whereas the destroyer is prob already reg. in someone else's name. Good Luck either way and good luck this season.

Thanks guys! Well the guardian I felt was a heavy bow and I'm not gonna lie the 60 lb draw was too much for me when hunting in a stand. I'm just worried about the saying you get what you pay for...or is that not the case? I'm planning on taking off the rak accessories and putting my viper sight , ripcord and other stuff on.

I'm going to shoot both before I hand over the cash for one... The destroyer would be $500 and it needs a string .. So say$600... Vs a new assasin...I'll be around $550 ...

Two very different bows. The Assassin is a bit milder in terms of cam feel and speed. The Destroyers have an aggressive cam, which is where most of the speed is generated. I'd shoot both, setup as you would be shooting it.

I just bought a D340 and could not be happier. Its a barn burner for sure, but surprising nice to pull for what its putting out the other end.

If the Destroyer is a 2010 make sure it has the new updated cam's. The originals were to shallow in the pocket and could derail on you if you have any form issues. If it's a 2011 your good to go with no changes needed. I have the 350 and I'm quite happy with it.
