I reciently returned to archery after a 15 year drought. Boy how things have changed. I think I must have shot just about every bow manufacturer around looking for the perfect fit. Thanks to the fine folks at The Avid Archer in Petaluma Californa I'm one happy guy. The Bowtech Destroyer350 is the bow that worked best for me. The owner set me up with one heck of a nice set up. 29 inch draw, 62 lb, Rip Cord drop away rest and the new IQ sight. As I said earler I haven't show in 15 years. After a week and a half I'm shooting better than I ever have. Tight 2 inch groups right where I want them. The reality is I don't think I am that great of a shot but the equiptment is what makes me so accurate. April turkey's beware!!
The other Petaluma Pete has a request please Hello Petaluma Pete! Since you only have two posts here so far, I was wondering if you would not mind changing your name to something other than Petaluma Pete? I have been using that name for 4 years as a personality to teach kids lessons on Petaluma360.com and in commercial ventures, and my google search is now directing me to this forum because you have come along with the same name. Click here to see my web site: http://www.petalumapete.com/ It sure would head off a lot of confusion in the future if you could find it in your heart to make a change this early in the game. What do you think? - John Maher
Wow John! Get over it! Congrats on your bow Pete. Its good to see a member thats from the same area as me. I live between Red Bluff and Redding but grew up in Hopland.
jeeze John I don't know what to say. I live in Petaluma and my name is Pete. I guess the best thing for you to do would be to go out and get yourself a bow and join the brotherhood. It's one hell of a lot of fun and a great way to meet the nicest folks.By the way it would do kids a great service to encourage them to get out and learn archery as a sport rather than sit in front of the boob tube or computer and play video games.
Great advice Pete..... Congrats on the new bow. Once my wedding is paid for I will be saving up for one. I am still gonna shoot many different kinds including the Invasion!!!! Also welcome back to the sport. I am only 20 and have hunted for 8 years all with my bow and am hoping for another 50 years!!!!!!
I could not agree with you more! Click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlqeKjpkI14 My "brotherhood", making music, provides the same benefits for kids and it also encourages team work. If your brotherhood believes in teamwork, how about if you changed your handle to "Pete Petaluma"... That way, everybody wins! I mean this with the utmost respect. This sound OK to you?
