Hello! Yep, I'm gramma, and have just started bowhunting last year. I do great when practicing with the target, but when in the woods I see deer, get them really, really close--then all goes south with the shot. Is there a preferred place in here to ask a question and get an answer? This has been making me crazy, 'cause grampa just shakes his head and laughs at me LOL thanks--gramma

Welcome. The best advice I can give is to pick a spot on the deer before you draw and aim at that spot.
