Hey guys I hope someone can help me out. I bought a used bow from my cousin it's an older model PSE Nova. I took it to a pro shop to have the some draw length taken off. The feller running the counter informed me I need new string as soon as possible. Have shot it a few times since but have put it off long enough. The info sticker on the bow says the string length is 96 inches. Found a website selling a new string for around 20 bucks. Stone Mountain is the brand name for the string. Is this a good deal??? Any advice will be helpful!

    Welcome to the site :tu:

$20 is a cheap string. Cheap strings can lead to consistency problems because they tend to stretch a bit more. They also may not hold up as long. I've heard nothing but great things about Vapor Trail and Winners Choice strings.
