Hey guys been lurking here for quite a while and I have learned alot from you guys. I have a few questions for you guys. I picked up this piece of land to hunt earlier this year. It is mostly open fields with cattle roaming throughout. To the west of the property is all open field corn and bean fields. Where I am currently set up I have seen about 15 does in about 10 sets since the start of Oct. The timber that I am setting on the outside of slopes off pretty steep down to the river. I am wondering if you guys have any suggestions on where to set up or if I am set up in an ok spot what I should be using at this time of year as an attractant. 4K View.jpg

Just guessing. But I think your probably set up on their trail to and from the food source. If your seeing deer and they are getting within range, then I'd probably hang there and see what happens. Might be good to find where the deer are entering those corn and bean fields too. Then you'll have another tree to hang in.

Can't help with the attractant scents because I don't use em.Never needed to.

Assuming you're set up on a fence line, find a low spot where the deer cross the fence the most, deer are lazy animals and will find the path of least resistance... also assuming the deer are bedding east of you? Another spot I'd consider is north of you where the woods necks down to the river, that's a good funnel/pinch point.... Like was said above, if you're seeing deer in range, you're already in a decent spot and with the rut continuing to increase, you'll likely see bucks...

I'd stay put. If you are seeing does the bucks can't be far behind!
