I've only hunted with a crossbow for one season and I already got another bow. I got a Tenpoint Shadow NXT. Man, this thing is a sweet shooter. Probably within a half hour of shooting, it was dialed in at 40yds. My plan is to be able to shoot proficiently out to 60yds. after shooting a deer last December after being in 5 degrees for hours and struggling to draw my bow and hold proper anchor I went out and got a crossbow for cold weather hunts. theyre fun to shoot
