I currently shoot a 08.5 Ninja Elite Z28 my set up is 27.5DL 63lb DW it has 60-70lb limbs and shooting Easton ACC 100g FP and Broadheads. Would like a little more speed I'm getting around 260ish. But would prefer 50-60lb limbs so I'm shootind the bow maxed out verses turned down. The thought has crossed my mind a time or two to get something different. Just not sure which bow I would want. I have tried all of the names Mathews Hoyt Bowtech ect. Just looking for some other thoughts and opinions on bows with my set up. I have shot many bows just not sure which way to go. Thank you.

Honestly people are going to say shoot some and do some research. Through my adventures of trading bows to find the one I want I found I liked my faktor 34 and bowtech invasion the most. I now shoot an MR6 at 60 pounds slinging 490 grain axis arrows. I love the bow for its speed and stability. With that, it's all about you in this case and I hope you find what you like. I also tune all of my bows and get to knit pick the little details.

    Good luck.

Yeah Vabowman I do like the Elites I've thought about maybe getting a GT500 with 60# limbs. Just bet they are hard to find these days.

Just my 2 cents with a question. Why drop down to 60 pound limbs to max the bow out if you are shooting 63 now on 70 pound limbs? Dropping to 60 pound limbs and maxing puts you at the peak performance of the bow with no room to move up. For me the logical math doesn't add up. I'd rather have room to grow than get something and peak it right away.

You might want to look into a Bowtech BTX. I shoot one and love it. It has 3 different cam settings for the draw cycle and might be just what you're looking for. I by no means am saying I have the best bow but the versatility is great. I know, I know, the limbs right.... I've had mine for 2 years with no issues. 70 pound limbs and shooting a 65 pound DW. Anyway, something to think about if you want.

Oh shoot for got to mention the reason for wanting to go down to 50-60lb limbs is because of shoulder problems and I can't shoot my 60-70 limbs maxed anymore. Well I can but after 3-4 arrows I'm done. The 60-70lb limbs maxed at 73lb.

I dropped to 60# limbs this year after 20+ years of 70+...should have done it long ago.
