new bow..

    just picked up my new bowtech insanity cpx and it is an awesome bow. but the new strings are so stiff..anybody know about how many shots it takes to start breaking them in?

    Shoot them and what I do is after a while wax the string then it'll break them down

    About 20-ish things should settle in ;) & give them a good waxing

    dont use too much wax, its bad for the strings, just use enough, and sick bow !!!!! i think its probly one of the best bows ever made.

    nice bow man, any problems paper tuning it? or did you paper tune it?

    havent paper tuned it yet..i always was told to wait until the new strings were broken in to paper tune it. not sure how true that is.

    What no pics? id like to see some pics of the bow and some groups if ya don't mind.. just curious. i had an 82nd airborne for a bit. loved it until i picked up an elite pure. i just couldn't go back to the draw cycle of the airborne after shooting that pure.
