Just got back from Scheels Sports with a new bow. Well, its used, but new for me. It is a Martin Threshold. Seems to shoot decent. Was a package deal, with the sights, arrow rest, and quiver. Now I just have to practice, practice, practice. Wont be bow hunting deer this year, as this is my first bow and I know Im not shooting well enough to cleanly kill a deer. May try for a turkey in the spring.

I'm glad your not going to try to take a deer with it this year. Kudos on your part, so many people will go by a bow, hit a pie plate from 20 yards, and head to the woods.

Good luck, and be careful, it's very addictive!

I've been bowhunting for quite a while & I still shoot 25-40 arrows every day. Trust me it pays off.
