Well as a few of you know I sold my guardian a couple days ago and the hunt has been on. It finally ended today. I went to our buck a rama and actually just wanted to draw a few different bows that I had not gotten the chance to mess with yet. I really like the alphamax and the Z7, the only bowtech dealer there had bows I have already played with, Destroyer being one of them and I really like it as well. I am standing around looking at used bows on one shops rack and notice a guy trading a bow in. I over heard:ninja: what the guy took for trade and did some quick math. I offered 350 for the bow and case. The bow has an sts and trophy taker rest (which probably will come off) and the string is in very good shape. He tried haggling and I informed him of what I overheard, so he buckled and let me have it. The bow is a switchback and I have been wanting another one since I sold mine a few years back. I am very happy with this purchase an thought I would share. Hopefully I will be sitting behind a deer in a little over a month, but we'll see.

Switchbacks are/were great bows... Not sure I'd prefer that over the Guardian you came from, but both will kill the heck out of deer, that's for sure!

Best of luck to you this year; hope to see you posing with it in a hero pic soon!

Good deal Michael. I have a friend that has a switchback and loves it. Good luck with it.

By no means would I short change the guardian, in fact I remember sending a PM to Rob after I shot my first deer with it. I told him that alot of arrows have left my bows and gone into deer, but that guardian has to be the absolute quietest in the woods by far. Everyone has a bow they let go and then regret, for me it was a switchback. I will have other bows, but I will have this one to go with them. Thanks for the compliments guys. I was actually looking at an alphamax from Doug, and one of your bows Greg, but the dang things always sell before i can get home from work to reply...

COMPLETELY understand that sentiment! That's why I had BowTech special-make me an Allegiance, and most recently a Destroyer 340 that's just for me and that I'll never sell.

Like I said, Switchbacks are/were awesome... I spent quite a bit of time with the XT version, and it was a nice little shooter as well, once I changed the grip out.
